QI GONG is a Chinese system of gentle exercises, breathing and meditation that increases our bodies supply of healing energy – Chi or Qi – promoting overall good health and enhancing overall vitality.

QI GONG also known as Chi Gong or Qi Gung, can be defined as the art of Qi cultivation. It is a Chinese system of gentle exercises, breathing and meditation that increases our body’s supply of healing energy – Chi or Qi – enhancing overall vitality, as well as developing a clear and peaceful state of mind. 


Qigong is a combination of self-healing exercises as well as meditation.


There are two major subsets of Qigong: Dynamic or moving Qigong (dong gong); and Quiescent or meditative Qigong (Jing Gong). Within the two subsets, there are the three branches of Qigong practice: Medical, Martial and Spiritual.

  • Improves strength, flexibility, and balance
  • Alters the neurochemistry profile, moderating pain, depression, and addictive cravings
  • Enhances the efficiency of the immune system
  • Improves resistance to disease and infection
  • Induces alpha and, in some cases, theta brain waves which reduce heart rate and blood pressure, facilitating relaxation, mental focus
  • Coordinates right/left brain hemisphere dominance, promoting deeper sleep, reduced anxiety, and mental clarity
